What is a dual major?
A dual major is when a student is declared in two different majors (or the same major but two different concentrations) but both have the same degree. Only one diploma will be issued. Diplomas do not include the major, only the degree.
Examples:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing AND a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance/Economics
OR
Bachelor of Science in Psychology AND Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

A dual degree is when a student is declared in two different majors with each having a different degree. A diploma for each degree will be awarded. Diplomas do not include the major, only the degree.
Examples:
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology AND Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration
OR
Bachelor of Arts in History AND Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies
What are the requirements to earn the dual degree?
In order to earn both degrees, a student must meet all of the requirements of both majors.
